RealStreet is currently seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join our team of recruiters in our
Aberdeen, MD office.  The Recruiting Coordinator will support the recruiting team through direct research and screening of candidates, and by providing administrative support.

Job Responsibilities

The Recruiting Coordinator will support the recruiting team in daily tasks including sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding candidates to ensure a positive and efficient recruiting experience for prospective candidates, and shall:

  • Facilitate RealStreet’s social media efforts by posting positions on various career sites and the internal website
  • Search job board databases and social networking sites for potential candidates
  • Review resumes and prescreen potential candidates under the direction of Recruiters
  • Assist with basic Human Resources functions including processing background checks, completing references, recording new hires and verifying start dates
  • Coordinate candidate application process by assisting in scheduling candidate interviews, formatting resumes and creating ScoreCards
  • Support the Marketing Coordinator with marketing and business development campaigns to include job posts, newsletters and marketing materials
  • Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, taking messages, documenting notes within an applicant tracking system (ATS) and other tasks as needed

Job Requirements


Specific qualifications for the Recruiting Coordinator role include the following:

  • 1+ years of administrative customer service experience or college degree required; experience in a Recruiting or Human Resources department preferred
  • Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects with changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Ability to work independently with strong administrative problem-solving skills
  • Highly-organized and able to prioritize work tasks with attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and follow up with a sense of urgency on all matters
  • Ability to handle confidential matters and information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel and Outlook
